With 18 cubic feet of capacity, the SkyPro Pro 18 rooftop cargo box from Yakima is sized for multi-sport adventures and family vacations. Constructed of lightweight and strong ABS plastic, the SkyBox 18 is a low-weight box, so that you can carry more. The box features an aerodynamic design that reduces drag and wind noise and the interior is equipped with an integrated track system, cargo net, and base pad to keep items secure and organized as you drive. Installing the SkyBox 18 is quick and easy thanks to tool-free, quick-installation mounting hardware that fits car rack systems with round, square, and most factory crossbars. The lid is rigid to make one-handed operation a reality, not a dream--and with dual-sided opening, you can access the box contents from either side of the vehicle. The box's SuperLatch is also designed for one-handed operation and offers anti-theft protection with the SKS locks.

Yakima Planet Payback:
Yakima strives to create less waste and consume less energy with their Planet Payback Initiative. In order to reduce environmental impact: uses up to 85 percent post-consumer recycled content and water-based inks; never uses white cardboard, which contaminates water processing facilities with chlorine; and uses a minimum of 30 percent FSC-certified recycled paper in all printed materials. Yakima cargo boxes are made from up to 80 percent recycled ABS plastic. Steel and plastic parts on all of Yakima's hitch products are 100 percent recyclable. All plastic factory scrap is recycled on-site--resulting in decreased downstream waste and 20 percent recycled content is used in all plastic parts.
